Applicants for the positions of Professor and Associate Professor are required to submit two sets of application/dossiers along with detailed CV and a soft copy of application/dossier in PDF format (CD/DVD).

Applicants for the position of Assistant Professor are required to submit their applications in two Copies of application/dossiers on the prescribed Proforma (available at Website of QAU).

The applications should reach the office of the Assistant Registrar (Establishment) QAU, Islamabad within 30 days since the date of this Advertisement in the press alongwith Pay Order, Bank Draft (any bank) or (Paid Challan only from HBL Quaid-i-Azam University branch) for Rs.2000/- (Non-refundable) drawn in favour of Treasurer, Quaid-i-Azam University.

2. Applications for teaching posts from abroad may be sent along-with US $ 100 (in the shape of bank draft - drawn in favour of Treasurer, Quaid-i-Azam University) as application processing fee within 60 days since the date of this Advertisement in the press.
3. Internal / existing candidates of QAU may apply on BPS. External candidates may apply on BPS for Social Sciences in Associate Professor and Professor categories only; preference will be given to TTS candidates.
4. The candidate(s) applying for teaching positions under both systems (TTS/BPS) should submit separate application(s) alongwith detailed CV and a Soft Copy of dossier in PDF Form (CD/DVD) alongwith required pay order, bank draft etc, for each application separately.

Separate application forms for Teaching Positions TTS & BPS are available at the University website www.qau.edu.pk and the same can also be obtained from the (Establishment Section –Administration Block QAU).

Applicants already working in Government / Semi-Government Organizations / Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel by due date and submit service certificates issued by their present and former employers (duly attested); otherwise, their applications will not be entertained. However, the University may entertain advance copies, if clearly mentioned.
7. The selected candidates will be governed by the Quaid-i-Azam University Service Statutes and rules / regulations amended from time to time.
8. The University reserves the rights to fill any position / withhold the appointment against any advertised position or to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.
9. Applications that are incomplete (in any case) or received after due date shall not be entertained by any means.
10. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview.
11. The applicants who do not possess the required qualification & experience are advised not to apply, as their applications will not be considered / entertained.
12. All applications are treated as a confidential document and will be shredded one year after making appointments.
13. All teaching posts are to be filled purely on open merit basis.
14. Decision of the University shall remain binding in all cases.
